1.    How soon will my event listing display on the Calendar?

Within 24 hours, your listing will appear on the regional calendar that you chose and the main calendar by defaultNote:  To avoid delays in publishing your event on WEECalendar.com™, be sure to follow the guidelines.    Make sure that you include a valid email address on the Submit Event Form in the Submitter Information area.  If there are issues or problems with your event listing, this is the email address that the Administrator will use to contact you.  Be sure to select the correct calendar for your region. 

2.    What Renewable Energy Sectors are permitted to utilize WEE Calendar?

Only renewable energy sector events may be added to the calendar.   These may include: Biofuel; Biomass; Clean Coal; Energy Efficiency & Conservation; Geothermal; Green Energy; Hydropower; Media; Natural Gas; Nuclear; Ocean Energy; Recycling; Solar; Solar Thermal; Waste Energy; Wind.  To ensure that guidelines are adhered to, all submitted events will be reviewed before they are approved and added to the public calendar.


3.   How many events can be added to the Calendar?

An unlimited number of events may be added to the calendar.

4.   What types of businesses, organizations and groups are permitted to use the WEECalendar.com™?

Associations, Charities, Foundations, Government Agencies, NGOs, Businesses, Financial Institutions, Law Firms, and Event Planners.

5.   How much does it cost to add events to WEECalendar.com™?

It does not cost anything to add events to the calendar.  Company logos may be added for a one-time cost of $25.00.  All future events added to the calendar will include your company logo.  The select option to upload your company logo to your event is included on the Submit Event form.  An invoice will be sent to you after your event is submitted.  Logo dimensions must not exceed 10KB.  Images exceeding this dimension will be automatically re-sized.

6.   What types of enhanced events listing advertisements are available?

We offer a Sponsored Banner Listing and a Featured Listing advertisement.,  See the Sponsored Banner Listing  in action.  This is a rotating 560x85 banner that is placed on the regional calendar of your choice.    The Featured Listing is a vertical ad scroller on the right side of the regional calendar  For more information about advertising, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 7.   How much does it cost to add a Business in the Directory?

The Low Annual Introductory Fee for a Directory Listing is $75.00 per year. This is an excellent value compared to other online calendars offering similar features to those of WEECalendar.com™.  Other event websites charge annual membership fees ranging from $250 to $1200 per year.

8.   Why is my business already listed?

Some business listings have been compiled from information available on the Internet such as online directori, off-line directories and marketing lists. An e-mail notice will be sent to the contact person listed confirming the information and providing an opportunity to keep the listing in the directory.

9.   Does my company need a Website to add a listing in the Directory Listing?

Yes. All businesses listed on WEE Calendar must have a website.  Your goal is to promote your company on WEECalendar.com™.  A website presence is important as it helps to establish a company’s legitimacy and preserve the quality and transparency of all businesses listed in the Directory.

10.   What should my business listing description contain?

A business listing description should contain a clear, concise and factual description of the goods and/or services that your company offers.  Describe what your company does best. We will review it and notify you if any modifications are necessary.   View sample listing.

11.   Why was my business listing edited?

To ensure the quality of our business resource listings, upon receipt of your submission, we may make editorial suggestions to ensure that your listing meets the WEECalendar.com™’ content criteria.  We will never make changes to your listing without your permission.  We may modify your listing Meta Data to ensure that it maintains a high level of quality and relevance for searches.

12.  Can I use capital letters to make my Event or Directory listing stand out?

No. Using capital letters to draw attention is not necessary. Visitors to your company website will evaluate your event or business offerings without unnecessary special formatting. A simple clear, concise and factual description of your business is sufficient.

13.  Why did I receive an e-mail from WEE Calendar?

If you received a mailing from us, (a) your e-mail address was forwarded to us by someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"); or, (b) you have registered to receive routine e-mails from one of our lists. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.  WEECalendar.com™ will not directly send e-mails to you. You will likely receive e-mails from us if you have signed up for the events or business directory. If you do, however, receive unwanted e-mail from us, simply follow the directions at the end of the e-mail. Each e-mail sent contains an easy, automated way for you to stop receiving automatic e-mail from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any e-mail.

14.  Can I use exclamation points to make my business name or description stand out?

 No. This is a business website, not a sales pitch. Use accurate descriptive words to make your business stand out.  Visitor to  our website are capable of evaluating the product or service you offer without unnecessary hype; if you’ll just provide a concise, factual description of your website, we’re certain that they can decide whether your business is of interest to them.              

15.   How long will  past events remain on the calendar?

Past Event remain on the calendar for up to one year.
